Amanda Goering, Adviser
Amanda Goering is an Emporia State University graduate. She studied English and journalism education and graduated in the spring of 2016. While attending ESU, she worked several jobs. She spent four years at the local chocolate shop, The Sweet Granada, three years at a retirement home, The Presbyterian Manor, and three years as part of the newspaper staff, The Bulletin. Goering shifted around positions on staff. When hired, she worked as a copy editor and reporter. In her first year, she was promoted to managing editor. In this position, she continued to copy edit and write as well as designated assignments to the 20 photographers and writers on staff. By her second year on staff, Goering received recognition for her work and replaced the former editor-in-chief due to illness.

Before college, she attended Canton-Galva High school where she was involved in Future Business Leaders of America for three years, Student Council for one year, Family Career and Community Leaders of America for two years, National Honors Society for two years, and newspaper for three years.
