Leading up to Valentine’s Day, the student council will be in the front lobby selling candy grams.

The student council will be there in the morning all this week and Monday of next week.

The candy grams cost $1 and will be passed out to the recipients on Valentine’s Day. Both faculty and students can send them to either faculty and/or students. Many different types of candies are available including M&M’s, Skittles and Sweet Tarts.

All proceeds from the candy gram sale will go towards the Special Olympics. Special Olympics is an international competition based on the Olympics in which mentally and physically handicapped athletes participate in athletic events.
Some of the money will be used to send a few members to Polar Plunge. The Polar Plunge is a way to support Special Olympics by donating money to jump into usually ice cold water. The Student Council is hoping to make $150-$200 from this sale.
